2020 Virtual Interfaith Thanksgiving

This lively annual celebration of our interfaith community supports the school lunch and food security program for Umoja Project students in the Chulaimbo area of western Kenya. Due to the corona virus pandemic this year's celebration will be held virtually including online auction.

Invite your friends to join you in our virtual annual tradition in a new and exciting way.

The program will include a keynote address from Dr. Joe Mamlin, long time leader and Kenyan resident with Indian University/ MOI Hospital AMPATH Program. Our Kenyan staff will be will with us via video to share updates from our organization.

The evening includes recipes for Kenyan fare to make at home, a silent auction, inspiring presentations, and a drawing. Online Auction will open on November 7th and continue through the night of the event.

The Umoja Project feeds daily school lunch to 3,425 students in 19 primary schools and also provides emergency food to child-headed households.

Your ticket purchase for the Interfaith Thanksgiving Dinner covers the purchase of a Kenyan inspired face mask, an entry into a drawing, A YEAR OF SCHOOL LUNCH FOR A KENYAN CHILD, and emergency COVID food support for a Kenyan family this fall.
