Join me in helping alleviate hunger in our project area, Chulaimbo region of western Kenya. With the corona virus, the need for assistance with food is even greater. I had hoped to make my 4th trip to Kenya this summer but the virus interfered. I have seen the difference Umoja makes in our student's lives. Help us feed their bodies so their minds can learn and help them survive in the coronavirus pandemic for Umoja Partnership
Because of the corona virus the need for food security has dramatically increased in our project area.
- Globally - More than 270 million people could be pushed to the brink of starvation. (U.N. World Food Programme)
- Children - An additional 10,000 children could die EACH MONTH, due to coronavirus-related malnutrition. (The Lancet, medical journal)
