We can feed over 5,000 students school lunch every day.
Join us and help make a difference, please give today.
Pam and I just returned from Kenya with our daughter, Meghan, and her husband, David - where our grandsons, Nick (13) and Ben (10), met hundreds of new friends at Umoja’s 21st school. Nick and Ben helped put on a soccer clinic with their dad (a university soccer coach), sharing donated soccer shoes and soccer balls at Geta Primary School. As Nick and Ben said, "each of the kids they met were so kind and happy to be with them". They realized that … "we are all the same, while everyone is unique".
Please join us in supporting the Umoja Partnership, which enables our Kenyan leadership to feed over 5,000 orphaned and vulnerable kids each year, provides sanitary napkins for the girls, enables each child to have a school uniform, provides each child with a solar lamp and a blanket, helps them each know their individual gifts, and makes it possible to get their education!
Every dollar matters, as $50 can feed a child for a year, $250 can enable a child to attend secondary school for a year, and $750 can rebuild their single-room home.
Help more than 5,000 kids complete their education – from primary school through college!
Our favorite African saying is called ‘Ubuntu’ – which means “I am because we are”. We, together can truly change the world, at least for these kids – as ‘We walk each other home’. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Pam and Jim
