Join me in supporting real change. Please consider helping us provide the kind of nutrition that empowers students to learn and reach their full potential. Education is the best path out of poverty for orphaned and vulnerable children. They do the work. We give them the chance. It's the only thing that can create sustainable change. Join us in transforming impoverished communities - one child at a time!
We will need to raise $50 per child to cover the costs for all needy students. In the past, $25 would feed one of our students for the entire year, but due to the trifecta of weather conditions in Kenya, the COVID-19 pandemic, and worldwide inflation, the costs of maize and beans have doubled. Our families are struggling more than they have in some time. In 2024, we are serving 4,964 students. We also provide additional weekend and holiday meals for 150 child-headed households.
Any amount raised toward our goal will fulfill our purpose of keeping kids in school and offering them a pathway out of poverty through education.
Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for Umoja Partnership, a locally-led, globally-supported, interfaith partnership.
