We can change communities by supporting kids!

Going hungry at lunch makes it tough to stay focused in the classroom - we create change through every bowl of maize and beans that fuels kids through their day. The Umoja Partnership supports 3,400 primary school students in western Kenya every day with school lunches. Through the project's dedicated staff, mentoring programs, and the involvement of teachers and guardians, hope is spreading! I'm privileged to be on the board for this organization, and love to see folks in Indiana reaching across the globe to make a difference in place where a few dollars go a long way.
