Let's ensure 4,190 elementary children eat at least one meal every day!

We are asking our key partners to rally their friends, family, and networks to support Umoja's transformational work. By becoming a fundraiser for Umoja Partnership, you will help us feed more than 4,190 kids living incredibly difficult lives and help your friends feel good about doing good.

Starting a fundraiser is easy to do, and it's fun!! We will even give you all the tools you need to make a difference. With your help, we can nourish the bodies of vulnerable children and ensure they are prepared to learn. Education is a pathway out of poverty for them, and our school lunch program is the first step toward helping our Kenyan brothers and sisters.

No time to start your own fundraiser? You can donate personally, too. But please, don't underestimate the power of sharing your passion for our cause with those you love. Your family and friends will be motivated by your example and may surprise you with their generosity. Philanthropy offers an opportunity to reconnect with old friends and perhaps even make new connections along the way.

In a typical year, $25 would feed a child for a year, but due to weather conditions, the COVID-19 pandemic, and inflation, the cost of school lunches doubled in 2022. To reach all the students in need, we will need to raise $50 per child to cover the costs for the year. That averages out to approximately $3,600 for each of our twenty partner schools.

Any amount raised toward our goal will fulfill our purpose of keeping kids in school and offering them a pathway out of poverty through education.
