We are asking a few of our key partners to rally their friends, family, and networks to support our work. By becoming a fundraiser for Umoja Partnership, you will help more orphaned and vulnerable children and their families, and you'll help your friends feel good about doing good.
School teachers told us that the primary barrier to educating these students was hunger. So the Umoja Project started a school lunch program to support primary school students. Today we feed 3600 students in 20 primary school and provide additional food security for 100 child headed households. As Kenya grapples with the effects of the prolonged coronavirus pandemic schools will be in school for four terms in 2021 and 2022 instead of the typical three terms. That means the need is greater than ever before.
Help the Umoja Partnership do our part to alleviate hunger in our project area, the Chulaimbo region of Western Kenya.
Starting a fundraiser is easy to do, and it's fun. We'll even give you all the tools you'll need to make a difference. With your help we can ensure feeding their bodies so their minds can learn and helping them survive in the coronavirus pandemic.
